Sweet Memories

Happy Birthday!

Today isn’t just your birthday — it’s a celebration of you. The laughter you bring into every room, the comfort of your presence, the wild adventures, and the quiet, grounding talks that only we understand. So I made you something special — a little corner of the internet filled with our memories, inside jokes, and moments that still make me smile.
Because you’re not just my best friend — you’re my chosen family. And you deserve a gift as unforgettable as you are.
Let’s take a trip down memory lane — just us 💫🎂📸

Our First Sleepover 💤

I still remember how weirdly nervous we both were for our first sleepover 😂. We’d talked about it for days, overthinking what snacks to bring, what to wear, and whether we’d actually sleep or just stay up all night.

You showed up with your bag overpacked (as always) and I had already set up way too many blankets and pillows like it was a slumber party from a teen movie 🧸🎬. We awkwardly picked a movie we both half-watched, because we were too busy talking over it anyway.

At one point we got the giggles over literally nothing — like, can’t-breathe-crying kind of laughing 🤣. Then we tried to “go to bed” at like 3 a.m. but ended up whispering about school drama, dreams, and completely random things for another hour.

That night was when I knew — you weren’t just someone I got along with. You were someone I could be myself around. Pajamas, messy hair, silly jokes and all 💛.

The first of many sleepovers, but definitely one I’ll never forget. 🌙✨

How We Met in Uni 🎓

It all started in that ridiculously early 8:30 a.m. class — you know the one where no one talked and everyone looked half-asleep 😴☕. I was just trying to survive the lecture, and then you sat next to me. I remember you had colorful pens and the neatest notes I’d ever seen 🖊️📒. I instantly thought, “Okay, I need to sit here more often.” 😅

We awkwardly exchanged names during break, and by the second week, we were already sharing snacks, whispering sarcastic comments, and sending each other “I’m dying” looks during every boring presentation 😵‍💫.

Who would’ve thought a random seating choice would turn into this? Into years of support, deep talks, memes at 2 a.m., spontaneous decisions, and the kind of friendship that feels like home 🫶🏻💬.

Looking back now, I’m so grateful we met in that freezing lecture hall. Because that day was the start of one of the most important friendships in my life ❤️.

Our Trip to New York City 🗽

It felt like we were in a movie.
Running to catch the subway, walking for hours in sneakers that were not made for that kind of walking, and somehow ending up at a tiny bagel shop in Brooklyn at midnight.
We saw Times Square light up at night, screamed on top of the Empire State Building from the wind, and nearly cried over pizza that was "just different" 🍕.
That trip was pure chaos — but I wouldn't change a second of it. You were my favorite part of NYC 🌆💛.

Italian Summer 🍷

We said we’d eat real Italian pasta — and we did. Twice. For breakfast. 🍝😄 We were those tourists, completely in love with the idea of Italy, and honestly? We lived it exactly the way we dreamed.

We got lost in Venice more times than we’ll ever admit — wandering through alleys that looked like they were out of a painting, ending up at the same bridge three times in a row, but laughing every step of the way.

Rome felt like a movie. The Colosseum, the Trevi Fountain, the cobblestone streets that killed our feet but still looked so good in pictures. And that one evening we sat on the Spanish Steps, just watching people pass by, talking about life, the future, the kind of love we both deserved… it was one of those moments that stays with you forever .
You somehow took every blurry, off-angle tourist photo of me possible, while I captured your best lighting like I was born to do it 😎📸. We ate way too much gelato (but also not enough?)

Italy was stunning — the history, the beauty, the chaos — but what made it truly magical was being there with you. Just us, a couple of backpacks, zero sense of direction, and all the time in the world.

Beach Day 🌊

The beach, snacks, towels, and way too much sunscreen. The whole girl group squeezed into one car, blasting music with the windows down, already laughing before we even hit the sand.

We picked the perfect spot, close enough to the water but far enough from kids throwing sand. We swam until our hair tangled with salt, took turns trying (and failing) handstands in the waves, and screamed every time the water hit colder than expected.

Afterward, we wrapped up in blankets, salty and sun-warmed, and just sat there — passing snacks, taking photos, and watching the sky slowly melt into pinks and oranges.

No one was on their phones. Just us. Together. Fully there.
It was one of those days that you don't want to end… and honestly, it still hasn’t — because we keep carrying it with us 💙🏖️🍉.
