Yes, you can delete your page anytime by logging into your account and choosing the option to delete the specific page from your dashboard.

We do not index or share these links publicly, but:

  • You are fully responsible for controlling who receives the link and password
  • We are not liable for unauthorized access resulting from password/link sharing

If you believe your content was accessed without permission, contact us immediately.

6. Who We Share Your Data With

All providers process data only as necessary, under strict confidentiality and GDPR compliance.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

  • Draft websites are stored for up to 90 days; unpublished data is deleted afterward.
  • Published websites are stored for one year. Users can extend storage by repurchasing.
  • Billing records are retained as legally required (e.g., 6 years for tax).

  • Access, correct, or delete your data
  • Withdraw consent at any time

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of hbday.to ("the Service"). By using this website, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Service Overview

hbday.to allows users to create custom birthday websites, including uploaded photos, personal messages, and other content. A link and password are chosen by the user for private sharing with others.

2. Eligibility

The Service is not intended for individuals under the age of 16. If you are under 18, you may only use the Service with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

We do not knowingly collect personal data from individuals under 16. If we become aware that data has been collected from someone under 16, we will delete it immediately.

3. Website Creation & Access

  • When you create a website, you choose your private URL and set a password.
  • The website is not visible to anyone until you publish and complete payment.
  • Anyone with the URL and password can access the site.
  • Do not share content that is illegal, harmful, or infringes on others’ rights.

4. Storage Duration

  • Unpublished websites: Stored for 90 days from creation and then automatically deleted if not published.
  • Published websites: Stored for 1 year from publication. You may extend storage by repurchasing.

5. Payments

  • Some services may require payment.
  • Payments are securely processed by Stripe.
  • We do not store your card details.
  • You agree to Stripe’s terms: https://stripe.com/legal

All purchases are final unless otherwise stated in a refund policy.

6. Access via Link and Password

  • You create a private URL
  • You create a password to protect the content

You acknowledge:

  • Anyone with both the link and password can access the website
  • You are responsible for sharing access securely
  • We are not responsible for unauthorized access caused by your sharing

7. User Content & Conduct

You agree to:

  • Only upload content you own or are authorized to use
  • Not post offensive, illegal, or harmful material
  • Not use the site to harass, exploit, or infringe on others’ rights

We reserve the right to remove content or suspend accounts at our discretion.

8. Intellectual Property

  • You retain ownership of your uploaded content.
  • By uploading, you grant us a license to display it as part of the service.
  • All platform code, design, and branding belong to hbday.to and may not be reused or copied.

9. Availability

We aim to provide uninterrupted service but do not guarantee uptime or functionality. We may suspend, change, or remove features at any time.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access at any time for violation of these Terms or misuse of the platform.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, hbday.to is not liable for:

  • Loss of data, profits, or business
  • User-generated content
  • Access issues related to password or link sharing
  • Payment issues related to Stripe

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the European Union and Germany. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Mainz, Germany.
